  The traditional regular board has a 19-line grid of 361 intersections. The beginners may often play on small 9 or 13-line boards. The physical size of 19-line regular board is 42.5cm wide and 45.5cm long. 전통적인 바둑판은 19줄이나 초보자들은 9줄이나 13줄 바둑판도 쓴다. 바둑판의 크기는 韓中日 공히 폭42.5cm*길이45.5cm로 한다. 일본과 중국에서는 1尺4寸*1尺5寸으로 표기한다.
